Danville, Ill Dec 13 (wrong – she died Dec 12) – Miss Evelyn Miller, 19, stenographer, was dead today when her fiancée, Clinton Hopper of Covington drove in front of a train. Crawfordsville, Dec 13 – Evelyn Miller, 19 of Danville, was injured fatally and James G. Hopper, Covington, Ind was seriously injured late Sunday when their automobile was struck by a freight train near here. Miss Miller died about two hours after the accident.

Crawfordsville Dec 14 – The body of Evelyn Miller, age 19 of Danville, Ill was removed to her home Monday following her death Sunday of injuries received two hours before when an automobile in which she was riding with James C. Hopper of Covington, Ind was struck by a southbound Monon railway freight train at a local street crossing. Hopper was injured seriously. - kbz
