MITCHELL, Barvely Jane Dorsett - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Barvely Jane "Barb" Mitchell, 60, 1216 N. Gilbert, Danville, Ill., and formerly of Covington, died at 5:30 p.m. Friday, Aug 1, at her home. She was born May 26, 1926, in Fairmount, Ill., the daughter of John and Eva Hayes Dorsett. She worked at Olin-Matheson and Bohn Aluminum. She also took care of elderly people. Surviving are a son, James E. Mitchell Jr., Rossville, Ill.; two daughters, Deborah J. Mitchell Davis, Veedersburg, and Kathleen A. Mitchell Houser, Brooksville, Fla.; a granddaughter, Melissa "Missi" Mitchell, Rossville, and a brother, Carl Dorsett, Newman, Ill. Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Monday at Barrick and Son Funeral Home with the Rev. Gary Motts officiating. Burial was in Greenwood Cemetery.
