VEEDERSBURG — Mrs. Gretchen Minnick, 66, died at her home at 2:45 a.m. Monday. She had been at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Danville, Ill., since April 21 and had returned to her home last week. She was born at Waynetown March 14, 1900, the daughter of Fred and Laura Utterback. She attended the schools at Waynetown. She married Leighton Minnick Feb. 11, 1956. Prior to moving to Veedersburg 10 years ago she had lived at Crawfordsville. Mrs. Minnick was a member of the Methodist Church and had served as organist for 10 years prior to her illness. She is survived by her husband; a sister, Mrs. Sylvan Myre of Bloomington, and one brother, Thomas Utterback of Crawfordsville. Services will be at the Fishero Funeral Home, but arrangements are incomplete at this time.   --typed by Walt W

Mrs. Gretchen Minnick, age 66, died at 2:45 a.m. Monday, May 16, at her home in Veedersburg.  She had returned home
last Thursday from St. Elizabeth Hospital in Danville, Ill.  She had been ill some time.
Mrs. Minnick was born in Waynetown March 14, 1900, the daughter of Fred and Laura Utterback.  She was married Feb. 11, 1956, to Leighton Minnick, who survives.  She was a member of the Methodist Church and had served as organist until her illness.  She had attended the Waynetown schools.
Surviving, in addition to the husband, are: one sister, Mrs. Sylvan Myre of Bloomington; and one brother, Thomas Utterback of Crawfordsville.
Funeral services were held at 2 p. m. Wednesday, May 18, at the Veedersburg Methodist Church.  The Rev. Don Weaver, assisted by the Rev. Mrs. Edith Bruner, officiated.  Burial was in the Waynetown Masonic Cemetery.
