MINNICK, Glenn - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Newtown - Glenn C. Minnick 89, formerly of Shawnee Twp in Fountain County and recently of Covington, died Friday morning at Turtle Creek Convalescent Center, Lafayette. Mr. Minnick was a lifelong resident of Fountain County and a retired farmer. He was a member of the Union Christian Church. Born April 29, 1882 in Richland Township, he was the son of ELijah and Miara Smith Minnick. He attended Grannys Corner Elementary School. Survivors include a son, Paul E. Minnick of Newtown; two grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. Mr. Minnick was preceded in death by a daughter and a brother. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Crumley-Williams Funeral Home in Hillsboro. Rev. David Fuller will officiate. Burial in Union Cemetery near Newtown. Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 p.m. Saturday.
