MINICK, Beatrice Simmerman - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Mrs. Beatrice “Trix” Minick, 81, of 712 Homestead, Veedersburg, died at 10 a.m. Thursday, July 18, at her home. Investigating state police reported the cause of death as a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

  Born May 8, 1893, she was the daughter of John and Bertha Kell Simmerman. She was married to Gordon Minick, who died in 1972.

  Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Hawes (Avolene) Dwinell of Indianapolis, Mrs. Blaine (Eloise) Towell of Prairie Village, Kansas, and Mrs. Richard (Janet) Ellis of Western Springs, Illinois; a sister, Mrs. Leslie Little of Indianapolis; five grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

  Services were held Saturday at the Parham Funeral Home, with the Rev. Glen Youngblood officiating. Burial was in Rockfield Cemetery.
