Waynetown, Nov 1 - Mrs. Ruth Anna Miller, 46, died Wednesday afternoon at her home here after a six weeks illness resulting from a paralytic stroke.
Mrs. Miller was born near Veedersburg Jan 1, 1898 the daughter of Austin and Alice Marlatt Ludlow; and was married to Paul A. Miller near Crawfordsville on Sept 15, 1915.
She and Mr. Miller lived in Wingate all their married life until they moved to Waynetown about four months ago. Mrs. Miller as a member of the Christian Church, the Order of Eastern Star and the Pythian Sisters all of Wingate.
Survivors include Mr. Miller, one son, Cpl. Charles I. Miller in the army overseas; her brother, Mrs. Alice Ludlow, Wingate; two brothers, Lt. Homer W Ludlow, US Army and Roy Ludlow, Wingate; one sister, Mrs. Virgil Shannon, Indianapolis and several nieces and nephews. A daughter, Olive L. Miller died in 1926.
The body was returned to the family home here Thursday afternoon. Funeral services will be held at the Christian Church in Wingate at 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon in charge of the Rev. DA Duncan. Burial will be made in the Masonic Cemetery at Waynetown. - kbz
