MILLER, Ruby Truman - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Covington, Ind.—Mrs. Ruby Mitchell, 84, died at 6:04 p.m. Wednesday, (March 26, 1975) at Covington Manor Health Centre. She had been ill since September 1974.

  Born January 18, 1891, in Vermillion County, she was the daughter of Ernest and Grace White Truman. On Jan. 14, 1909, she married Don Mitchell, who preceded her in death.

  Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Lindley (Mary Alice) Randolph of Covington, a brother, Leslie Truman of Perrysville Route 1; four grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.

  She was preceded in death by a daughter, Miss Thelma Mitchell.

  Mrs. Mitchell was formerly of Gessie but had resided with her daughter a year.

  Services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday (March 29) at the DeVerter Funeral Home, with the Rev. Henry Karg officiating. Burial was in Lower Mound Cemetery. Friends were received from 2-4 and 7-9 Friday (March 28) at the funeral home.
