VEEDERSBURG, Ind. (CNS ) -- Robert Paul Miller, 63, of 500 W. Second, was pronounced dead on arrival at St. Elizabeth's Hospital in Danville at 10 a.m. Thursday (Feb. 8, 1968). He had been ill four years and died on his birthday. He was born in Ladoga, Feb. 8, 1905, the son of William D. and Syb Miller. Mr. Miller had been the owner and operator of the Hoosier Inn in Veedersburg for 24 years. He was married to Alma Goodson June 8, 1945. She survives along with a daughter, Mrs. Sue Ann Jumps, Glendale, Ariz. He was a member of the Christian Church in Covington. The Sever Mortuary is in charge of arrangements. Services will be at 1 p.m. Sunday at the Sever Mortuary with the Rev. Alfred Dobbs officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Covington. Friends will be received Saturday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Also surviving are two grandchildren. - typed by Walt W..

Veedersburg – Robert Paul Miller, 500 W. 2nd St was dead on arrival at St. Elizabeth Hospital, Danville, Ill at 10 a.m. Thursday, his 53rd birthday.  He had been in failing health four years.  Born at Ladoga, he owned and operated the Hoosier Inn for 24 years. He was married to Alma Goodson in 1945 and was a member of the Christian Church at Covington. Surviving with the widow is a daughter, Mrs. Sue Ann Jumps of Glendale, Ariz – kbz
