MILLER, Grace Hegg - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Grace M. Miller of Danville, Illinois, age 87, died Friday morning, March 25, in Lakeview Medical Center at Danville. She was born in Covington, February 12, 1896, the daughter of Stacey and Sylvia Murray Hegg. September 19, 1915, she married J. Abbie Miller, who died in 1963.

  Mrs. Miller was a member of Central Christian Church. She was a 1914 graduate of Covington High School and attended Indiana Teachers College. She taught a year at the McCarthy country school.

  Surviving are two grandchildren, Joyce Kennedy and J. Michael Dickerson, both of Danville; and four great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Betty Dickerson, and a son, Joseph M. Miller.

  Funeral services were held Monday morning at Lakeside Funeral Chapel in Danville with Rev. Jerry Martin officiating. Burial was in Spring Hill Cemetery at Danville. – thanks to S
