Greencastle, Ind., March 26 - Edgar J. Miller, aged twenty-three, of Newtown, Ind., a freshman at DePauw, was electrocuted in the bathroom of Mrs. Henrietta Jordan's boarding house late to-night. Miller was preparing to retire and had left his room-mate to go to the bath room. A cry was heard and his room-mate rushed to the bath room to find Miller lying dead on the floor. A hole in his right forefinger and a deep burn in the young man's toe told the story of his death. His body had fallen directly beneath an electric light and was stretched across a register. The light was turned off. The superintendent of the electric light plant was called after physicians had attempted to revive the student. The superintendent turned the light on. It is believed that at the moment Miller touched the fixture a wire leading to the house came in contact with a high tension wire of the traction company.
How sad - a young life snuffed -- thanks for the obituary Ginny & God Bless this young lad - kz
