Attica, Jan. 21. --- Mrs. Carrie L. Miller, 63 years old, well known Fountain county resident, died here of a heart attack this morning at 11:40 o'clock at the home of a daughter, Mrs. William Irwin. A native of Fountain county, Mrs. Miller was born Jan. 1, 1876 at Kingman, the daughter of James J. Lewis and Lucinda Lewis. She was united in marriage with William L. Miller, who preceded her in death, Feb. 5, 1930. She was a member of the Mellott Methodist church and for several years was prominent in the affairs of the church. Surviving are: two sons, J. Lee Miller of Attica, and Wayne Miller of Covington, three daughters, Miss Ruth Miller of Miami, Fla., Miss Gladys Miller of Indianapolis, and Mrs. Madge Irwin of Attica, three brothers, Elmer, Edward, and Bant Lewis, all of Kingman, and four grandchildren. Besides the husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, the father. James J. Lewis, age 94, having died last December first. Funeral arrangements have not been announced. --typed by Walt W
