Jennie Ramey Milford -- Saturday evening, Aug 6 will ever be hallowed in the memory of those who loved "our Jennie," since, just at the quiet sunset hour, her sufferings ended and she entered into that rest that remains for the people of God. Although as wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend, she will be sadly missed, yet with her we rejoice that her sufferings are ended and that her last wish is realized for we know that after sleeping she awoke in heaven. The little Episcopal church of Attica is a beautiful monument of her consecreated accomplishments, and although the sweet voice is silent here yet its echo remains as a perpetual benediction and those whose privilege it was to watch the strange glad light steal into her eyes as her spirit gently left her body, cannot would not call her back.
