MIETHE, Ethel Martin - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Mrs. Ethel M. Miethe of Danville, Illinois, age 91, died Thursday afternoon, June 4, in Lakeview Medical Center at Danville. She was born in Covington, September 7, 1889, the daughter of Jesse and Clara Belle Martin. A member of St. Paul Catholic Church, she worked for many years as a nurse’s aid in the Danville Veterans Administration Medical Center.

  Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Louise Terry of Kewanee, Illinois, and Mrs. Meta Jane Pickens of Olympia Fields, Illinois; ten grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

  Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at St. Paul Catholic Church with Rev. Thomas Shea and Rev. Steve Ward officiating. Entombment was in Sunset Memorial Park Mausoleum at Danville, Illinois. A wake service was held Sunday evening at Lakeside Funeral Chapel. – thanks to S
