ATTICA -- Susan Rebecca Redman Mickle, 86, of 801 S. Brady St., Attica, a resident of Small Rest Home, died 2:21 a.m. Sunday at Culver Hospital in Crawfordsville.  She had been in failing health for two years.

She was born in Attica on June 25, 1883, and had spent most of her life in Attica,  She was married March 25, 1903, in Attica, to Charles David Mickle, who preceded her in death on April 4, 1959.  She was a member of the Attica Christian Church.

Surviving are two sons, Charles of Beaverville, Ill., Dean, of Attica; two daughters, Mrs. Irene McKnight, West Point; Genevieve, at home.

Friends may call after 7 p.m. Monday at DeSutter Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with Rev. Darold Hill officiating.  Interment will be in Salem Cemetery.

Funeral services for Susan R. Mickle, formerly of 801 S. Brady St., Attica, who died Sunday at Culver Hospitalat Crawfordsville, were held 2 p.m. Tuesday in the DeSutter Chapel with Rev. Darold Hill officiating.

Serving as pallbearers were Gene Stults, William Pigg, Gordon Ralsey, Robert Hanthorne, John Busie and Mike Mickle.

Interment followed in Salem Cemetery east of Attica with DeSutter Funeral Home in charge.
