Attica – Mrs. Carrie C. Mickle, 86, a resident of Woodland Manor Nursing Home, died at 9:20 a.m. Thursday in Community Hospital, Williamsport where she had been a patient one day. Born at Veedersburg, she had spent most of her life at Attica. She lived at 805 S Union, prior to moving to the nursing home one year ago. Mrs. Mickle was a cook at Brants Café at Attica before retiring.  Her marriage was in 1913 at Covington to Ira Mickle. He died in 1968. She was a member of Free Methodist Church, Attica. Surviving are a son, Ira Mickle of Attica and one daughter, Mrs. Thelma Reese of Attica. - kbz
