MICK, F.M. - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Wingate, Ind May 10 – FM Mick, 82 years old and a retired farmer died here at 9 o’clock Friday night of heart trouble after an illness of several weeks. He had been making his home with a sister, Mrs. Sarah Bennett in Wingate.  The deceased was born Jan 18, 1842 on the Wea plains and was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Mick. In 1870 he was married to Mary Cabault; no children were born to them and she died a number of years ago.  Mr. Mick was favorably known here.  Surviving in addition to this sister is a brother, James Mick of Greencastle. Funeral services will be conducted at the Methodist Church Sunday afternoon at 3 o’clock and burial will be in the Methodist cemetery.  Rev. CB Smith will be in charge. – kbz
