COVINGTON, Ind. (CNS) — Mrs. Mary Ware Meyer, 76, a resident of Chandler, Ariz., since 1967, a former resident of the area and of Indianapolis, died at 10:45 a.m. Wednesday (Sept. 18, 1974) at the Adrain Medical Center in Mexico, Mo. She had been a patient there two days. She and her husband were returning to the area from Arizona when she was stricken ill. Born April 26, 1898, in Warren County, she was the daughter of Joseph and Nancy Fulton Ricketts. She was married in Indianapolis to Edgar Meyer, who survives. Other survivors include a son, Thomas Ware of Covington; two daughters, Mrs. Robert (Margaret) Fletcher of Beach Grove, Ind., and Mrs. James (Louise) Sparks of Bloomington; three sisters, Mrs. Ruth Ware and Mrs. Pearl Murphy, both of West Lebanon, and Mrs. Lora Haupt of Bismarck; eight grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son and two brothers. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Bodine & Shelby Funeral Home. The Rev. Ronald Michaels will officiate. Burial will be in Upper Mound Cemetery. Friends will be received at the funeral home after 6 p.m. Friday. - typed by Walt W.
