METSKER, Carl Wesley

Carl Wesley Metsker, age 75, of Lafayette, brother of Mrs. Vera Sutton of Attica, died at 1:05 p.m. Monday, July 18, at the William Ross Annex in Lafayette.
He was born in Lee's Summitt, Mo., and moved to Tippecanoe County as a small boy where he had resided the past 70 years. He had farmed 34 years near West Point and was a member of the West Point Methodist Church.
Surviving are: two daughters, Mrs. Edward Wray of Indianapolis and Mrs. Charles K. Kemp of Lafayette; two sons, William C. of Crawfordsville and Frank W, of Lafayette Rt. 12; one sister, Mrs, Sutton of Attica, and one step-brother, Sam German of Otterbein.
Funeral services were held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 20, at the Soller-Baker Funeral Home at Lafayette with the Rev. Richard Bowman officiating. Burial was in the West Point Cemetery.
