Hillsboro, Ind. (CNS)—Mrs. Elda Campbell Mellott, 83, of Veedersburg Route 3, died yesterday (Feb. 6, 1967) at her home. She had been ill several months. Born Oct. 11, 1883 in Cain Township, she was the daughter of John W. and Ginevra Dice Campbell. She was married Feb. 28, 1906 at her parents home to Guy Mellott and he survives. She was a member of Campbell Chapel Community Church. Also surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Harry (Wretha) Linn of Veedersburg Route 3; a son, John H. Mellott of Veedersburg Route 3; two grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. Maud S. Cooper of Hillsboro. She was preceded in death by two sons and a sister. The body is at the Crumley-Williams Funeral Home in Hillsboro and friends may call after 2 p.m. Wednesday. Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home with the Rev. John Servies officiating. Burial will be in Campbell Chapel Cemetery.   --typed by Walt W

HILLSBORO—Funeral services for Mrs. Elda Mellott were held at the Crumley-Williams Funeral Home. Rev. John Servies of Crawfordsville officiated with Dave Ziegler, soloist, and Nellie Shepherd of Crawfordsville, accompanist. Mr. Ziegler sang two special selections, "The Old Rugged Cross" and "Nearer My God To Thee." Pallbearers, who also assisted with flowers, were Robert Bever, Hubert French, Bert Boggs, Charles Snyder, Larry Hall and Bill Rush. Burial was in Campbell's Chapel Cemetery.   --typed by Walt W

Mrs. Elda Campbell Mellott, 83, a life resident of Cain Township died at her home on Rt. 3 Veedersburg Monday, February 6, 1967.  She had been in failing health the past few months.
She was born in Cain Township October 11, 1883, the daughter of John W. and Ginevra Dice Campbell.  She was married to Guy Mellot at her parents home on February 28, 1906.
She was a member of Campbells Chapel Community Church. .
Surviving along with her husband Guy, is a daughter, Mrs. Harry (Wretha) Linn and a son John H. both of Rt. 3, Veedersburg.   A sister Mrs. Maud S. Cooper, Hillsboro and two grandchildren.  She was preceded m death by two sons and a sister.
Services will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Crumley-Williams Funeral Home in Hillsboro with Rev. John Servies of Crawfordsville in charge.  Burial will be in Campbells Chapel Cemetery.
Friends will be received at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Wednesday.  - jz
