MEIHLS, Linda Lee - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Miss Linda Lee Meihls of Lafayette, age 23, died Friday morning, July 31, in Home Hospital at Lafayette. Miss Meihls was paralyzed September 23, 1978, when she fell from a horse at a riding stable near Mulberry. She was born in Lafayette, was a graduate of McCutcheon High School in Tippecanoe County and at the time of the accident was employed at Farm Bureau Insurance Company.

  Surviving are her mother, Mrs. Martha Meihls of Lafayette; her father, Darrell Meihls of Oxford; a sister, Teresa Meihls of Lafayette; a brother, Gary Meihls of West Lafayette; two half sisters, Darla and Deidre Meihls, both of Oxford; and the maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Hubert Luster of Newtown.  Burial was made Sunday afternoon in Union Cemetery west of Newtown. -s
