David Meharry, the venerable resident of Shawnee Mound, is lying at the point of death with the grippe. Last night he was very low and his death was expected at any moment. Mrs. Elma C. Whitehead, his daughter, is also very ill with congestion of the lungs and her recovery is regarded as doubtful.—Lafayette Courier
