Veedersburg, April 7 – Mrs. Edith Meadows, age 43 died at her home here at 11 o’clock Friday night, following an illness of several weeks due to complications. Born June 28, 1901, Mrs. Meadows was the daughter of Scott and Margaret Arismith Brewer. She was married to Jesse Meadows, formerly of Attica who died in July of last year. Four sons and one daughter survive, Marvin Meadows and Marman Meadows both of whom are with the US Navy and have been overseas but are now back in the US; Myle Meadows, John Meadows and Miss Margaret Meadows at home. Three sisters and five brothers, Mrs. Frank Shuler, Crawfordsville; Mrs. Martin Howsher (Bowsher?), Hillsboro; Mrs. Maude Phillips, Veedersburg; Tilman Brewer and Pearl Brewer both of whom reside in Veedersburg; Elmer Brewer, Casey, Ill; Jesse Brewer, Buchanan, Mich and William Brewer also survive.
