MAYHEW, Catherine Royce - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Mrs. Catherine Mayhew, 82, former resident of Yeddo, died in Detroit, Michigan, Monday July 28. She was born in Fountain County, April 23, 1893, the daughter of Nathaniel and Elizabeth Davis Royce. She was married to Fred Mayhew, who died March 8, 1965. Survivors include a son, Robert of Detroit; a great granddaughter of Chicago; a sister-in-law, Mrs. Molly ROyce of Montrose, Michigan; 8 nieces 3 nephews. She was preceded in death by a grandson; six sisters and six brothers. Funeral services were held today (Thursday) at the Woodrow Funeral Home in Kingman with Rev. George Souza officiating. Burial in Centennial Cemetery east of Yeddo.  -- kbz.
