MAYES, Margie Rager - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Margie May Mayes, 76, Kentland and formerly of Waynetown and Wallace died 5 a.m. Saturday in Parkwood Health Care Center, Lebanon.  Mrs. Mayes was a homemaker and attended school in Kentucky.  She was born Sept 1, 1927 in Mulenburgh County, KY to Edgar and Marie Boggess Rager.  She married Rollie Lee Mayes on July 20, 1945. He died May 17, 1989.  Survivors include two sons, Edgar Allen, Veedersburg and David Lee, Crawfordsville; three daughters, Helen Marie Tyler, San Jose, Calif; Carolyn Jo Allen-Nabours, Boswell, Ind and Patricia Gay Bonner, Lafayette; two brothers, Bill, Cadiz, KY and Ed Rager, Redding, Calif; 13 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren.  Funeral services are scheduled 2 p.m. Wednesday in Shoemaker Funeral Home, 202 S. Indiana 25, Waynetown with Rev. Duane Bryant officiating.  Burial will be in Waynetown masonic Cemetery. Friends may call noon until service time Wednesday in the funeral home. - kbz
