MAUDLIN, Herschel - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Hillsboro - Herschel a. Maudlin, 78 Rt 1, Hillsboro died March 4, 1994 in an auto accident near Veedersburg. He was born Jan 17, 1916 at HIllsboro, the son of Lawrence E and Myrtle Waggaman Maudlin. He married C. Delores Stultz Aug 7 1955 at Yeddo. She survives. He attended school in Hillsboro. He was a retired carpenter and farmer. He was a WWI veteran of the SeaBees. His membership included the Hillsboro United Methodist Church and Waynetown American Legion No. 445. Surviving besides the wife are two sons, Michael Stultz, Rochester, NH ;David Alan Maudlin rural Hillsboro; a sister, Helen Brown, Hillsboro and two grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers. Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Monday at the ramer-Shoemaker Funeral Home, Waynetown. Burial in Waynetown Masonic Cemetery with America Legion providing military honors.
