Frank Mattox has received word of the
death of his brother, Williard Mattox, who passed away at his home in Hammond,
May 27. Death was due to complications which followed a stroke of paralysis.
Mr. Mattox was about 65 years old and was born in Fountain County in a log
cabin east of Attica, near what is now known as the Ed Duncan Farm. The deceased is survived by his widow; four
grown children: three sisters, Mrs. Cynthia Reed of Attica ;Mrs. Busenbark and
Mrs. Nuss of California and three brothers, Frank Mattox of Davis Township; Lee
Mattox of Washington state and Newton of California. - kbz
