Attica – Mrs. Lillian Louise Mattingtly, 64, a former Attica resident died Thursday morning in Fountain County Home at Rt 3, Covington where she had resided the past 14 years. She was a native of Attica and lived in the area most of her life. She attended school in Davis Township. In 1932 at Covington, she married William S. Mattingly, who was a coremaker at Harrison Steel Castings Co, before his death in 1959. Mrs. Mattingly is survived by two sons, William Mattingly Jr of Venice, Fla and Byron Mattingly of Rt 2, Otterbein; two daughters, Mrs. James (Jacqueline) Ramsey of Rt 2, Otterbein and Mrs. Karen Norman of LaCosta, Calif; and a sister, Mrs. Lela B. Greenwood of Phoenix, Ariz.

Mattingly, Mrs. Lillian L – Friends will be received from 6-9 p.m. Sunday at Dale Maus Funeral Home, Attica. Services 2 p.m. Monday in Maus Chapel, Pastor Karl Korbel officiating. Interment Riverside Cemetery. Also surviving are 8 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. One great grandson preceded her in death. – kbz
