 Cecil C. Matteucci Sr., 54, Tilton, Illinois, died at 6:45 a.m. Thursday, December 8, at Lakeview Medical Center in Danville. He was the brother of Gilbert Matteucci of Attica.

  Born October 21, 1930 in Danville, he was the son of Peter and Ella Duprey Matteucci. On September 9, 1957, he married Helen Myers in Danville, who survives. He was an engineer for Seabord Systems Railroad for 12 years. He was a member of Locomotive Engineers Local and was an Air Force staff sergeant during the Korean War.

  Other survivors include a son, Cecil Matteucci Jr. of Houston, Texas; a stepson, James Davis of Beaumont, Texas; three sisters, Mrs. Phyllis Dupree, Mrs. Ida Lee Woods, and Mrs. Mary Ellen Winslow, all of Danville; and a step grandson. He was preceded in death by two brothers.

  Services were conducted Saturday at Barrick and Son Funeral Home in Danville with Rev. William Molloy officiating. Burial was in Oakhill Cemetery. -s-
