MASSEY, Winnie Pokorny - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

KINGMAN --- Mrs. Winnie Massey, 68, died at 12:05 p. m. Sunday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Mary Crowder, at Kingman. Mrs. Massey was preceded in death by her husband, Elijah, who died three weeks ago. Born Aug. 7, 1889 in New York City, she was the daughter of Joseph and Anna Mary Pokorny. She was married Dec. 11, 1910. For 39 years Mrs. Massey was a member of the Chariot Rebecca Lodge No. 517. She was also a member of the Kingman American Legion Auxiliary No. 384 and the Merry Birthday Club. Survivors, including the daughter, are a son, Robert Massey of Urbana, Ill.; two grandsons and a great-granddaughter. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p. m. Tuesday at the Woodrow Funeral Home in Kingman with Rev. Paul DeBois officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home after 5 p. m. Monday.   --typed by Walt W
