MASSEY, Mary Vaughn

Mrs. W.R. Massey passed away Friday evening at 4:00 p.m. at the home of her son, Charles E. Massey, in Covington. She was born August 4, 1867 at Steam Corner, the daughter of Frank and Frances Webb Vaughn. She was survived by two sons, Charles E. Massey of Covington and John Massey of Danville, Ill.; three sisters, Mrs. Rosie Hughey of Bloomingdale, Mrs. Pearl Messick of Indianapolis and Mrs. Stella Cruant of Colorado Springs, Colo.; one brother, Uriel Vaughn of Cates Station; ten grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at 2:30 at the Christian Church, of which she was a member, with Dr. O. J. Thomas of Danville, Ill. officiating and Rev. E. E. McConnell assisting.
Burial was in Mount Hope Cemetery in Covington with Crumley and Sons, funeral directors, in charge. – thanks to S&E
