Veedersburg - Dallas Fred Massey, a Veedersburg mechanic who had been in failing health for several years died Monday night at his home. He was 54. He was born at Kingman April 16, 1911. His parents were Perry and Emma Cox Massey. He married Dec 12, 1935 Dorothy Blacketer. Survivors include his widow; two sons, Norman who is in the AF in Florida and William of Veedersburg; one daughter, Mrs. Brenda Patridge, New Hampshire; one brother, Archie Massey of Arizona; two sisters, Mrs. Gaye Meihls and Mrs. Charlotte Cox of Veedersburg and six grandchildren. Funeral services are set for 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Fishero Funeral Home with Rev. Conley Rowland officiating and burial in Bonebrake Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Wednesday.

Dallas Fred Massey, 54, of Veedersburg Route 1, died at his home at 11:30 p.m. Monday, He had been in ill health nine
years and seriously ill one month.
Born April 16, 1911, at Kingman, he was a son of Perry and Emma Cox Massey.
He was married Dee. 12, 1935, to Dorothy Blacketer, who survives.
Also surviving are two sons, Norman of Florida and William of Veedersburg Route 1; a daughter, Mrs. Brenda Patridge of New Hampshire; a brother, Archie Massey of Tucson, Ariz.; two sisters, Mrs. Gaye Meihls and Mrs. Charlotte Cox of Veedersburg, and six grandchildren.
Services were held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the Fishero Funeral Home. The Rev. Conley Rowland officiated and burial was in Bonebrake Cemetery.
