Thomas C. Martin died at New Market at the home of Ed Wray on Sunday morning. Mr. Martin was overcome by heat while riding a motorcycle the Sunday before. He made his home for a number of years with Mr. & Mrs. John Wilder who attended the funeral on Tuesday. Interment at Veedersburg. He was a member of the Knights of Pythias lodge and on Saturday members of that order harvested his wheat crop. 70 Knights accompanied the body to Veedersburg. - transcribed by kbz
