Memorial services for Dr. Rudolph Edward Martin were held at the Chapel in Highland Cemetery, South Bend, Indiana, on Monday afternoon, February 27. He died in Roanoke, Virginia on February 24.

The son of Dr. E. J. Martin and Ella Planette Martin, he was born August 6, 1900 in Covington. He graduated from Covington High School in 1918 and from Indiana Dental College in 1922. On January 1, 1923, he was married to Ida Airgood of South Bend. She survives, with two daughters, Mary Martin Palma of Pekin, Illinois and Elizabeth Martin Stiles of Floyd, Virginia, five grandchildren and one great grandchild. – thanks to S
