COVINGTON — Rosetta Martin, 72, Covington, died at 5:53 a.m. Saturday, April 20, 2002 in Methodist Hospital, Indianapolis. She was born April 26, 1929 in Cobhill, Ky., the daughter of Arnold A. and Lillian G. Watson Brookshire. She married Raymond Martin Dec. 29, 1946 in Terre Haute. He survives. She was a member of Coopers Chapel Church of rural Veedersburg. She formerly owned the Martin Floral Shop in Covington which is now known as the Wabash Valley Flower Shop Survivors, besides the husband, include: a son, Bruce (Latauna) Martin, Veedersburg; four daughters, Sandra E. (Ed) Auter, Covington, Donna Ree (Rex) Beck, Hillsboro, Valli Lee (Tom) Haines, Danville, Ill. and Ann Marie (Darrin) Brewer, Oviedo, Fla.; two sisters, Eileen (Fred) Boller, Covington and Anna Mae (Joe) Sherman, Tennessee; 10 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother and a sister. Funeral services were at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Coopers Chapel Church with the Rev. James Shaw officiating. Burial will be in Hicks Cemetery, Perrysville. Dickerson Funeral Home, Veedersburg, was in charge of arrangements. Preferred memorials to the Heart Association or to Coopers Chapel Church. – jl
