Attica – Mrs. Olive Moore Martin, age 63, of Monon died at the home of a son, Delmer Martin.  The husband survives.

Monon, Ind Dec 22 – Mrs. Olive (Moore) Martin, 63, wife of Charles W. Martin of Monon passed away Wednesday at the home of her son, Delmart Martin of Attica.  Mrs. Martin had gone to visit her son several weeks ago and suffered a stroke of paralysis which proved fatal.  The deceased was born near Hillsboro and was married to Mr. Mart in 1898.  This could resided in Brook until four years ago when they moved to this community. Surviving besides the husband and son, Delmar, is a half-brother, Joseph Hiestand of Brook. The body was removed to the Henry Funeral Home in Monon pending the arrangement of funeral rites. – kbz

Attica, Dec 21 – Mrs. Olive (Moore) Martin, 63, wife of Charles W. Martin of Monon died this morning at 10:30 o’clock at the home of her son, Delmar Martin, 206 Avenue One. Mrs. Martin came here from her home in Monon several weeks ago for a visit and suffered a stroke of paralysis. Born near Hillsboro, she married Mr. Martin in 1898 and they lived in Brook until four years ago when they moved to Monon. Besides her husband and son, she leaves a half brother, Joseph Heistand of Brook.  The Henry Funeral Home, Monon in charge. - kbz
