MARTIN, Myrtle J - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Myrtle J. Martin of Danville, Illinois, age 57, died Thursday afternoon, January 6, in Lakeview Medical Center at Danville. She was born in Covington, March 26, 1925, the daughter of David and Sarah Bruce. January 23, 1946, she married Orville Martin, who survives.

  Also surviving are two daughters, Janet Frericks and Linda Jinkins, both of Danville; two sons, Billy D. of Danville and Orville A. of Oakwood, Illinois; four sisters, Mary McDonald of Williamsport, Virginia Martin, Dorothy Ritter and Peggy Ann Lawrence, all of Danville; and four grandchildren.

  Funeral services were held Monday morning at Barrick and Son Funeral Home in Danville with Rev. L. L. Mullinax officiating. Burial was in Spring Hill Cemetery at Danville. – thanks to S
