Mrs. Lillian R. Martin, 90, of Attica Route 1, died at 4:30 p.m. Thursday March 21, 1957 in St. Elizabeth Hospital Lafayette. She had been ill about one month. Born March 16, 1867, near Rob Roy, she was the eldest daughter of
William and Elizabeth Florey Bookwalter. She was married Dec 1, 1892, to Charles E. Martin who preceded her in death March 4, 1947. Surviving are a son, Robert of Attica Route 1; two daughters, Mrs. Dan Gray of Newtown, Ind and Mrs. Paul BOone of California; and two sisters, Mrs. EJ Shinn of Los Angeles and Mrs. James Hurd of New York City. Services were held at 3:30 p.m. Sunday at the residence with the Rev. Leroy Houk officiating. Burial was in Green Bay Cemetery.
