Kingman—Lenard O. Martin, 74, Kingman, died at 11:15 a.m. Friday, March 3, 1989 at United Samaritans Medical Center, Logan Campus, Danville, Ill.
He was born Aug. 5, 1914 in Danville, the son of Ora and Sophie Lindorff Martin. He was married April 2, 1948 in Danville to Laura K. Norris, who survives.
He was a veteran of World War II and served in the Aleutian Islands. He retired from Inland Supply Company in 1977. He was an avid Cubs fan and fisherman.
Surviving besides his wife are two brothers, Walter and Orville, and two sisters, Dorothy Hathaway and Clara Albert, all of Danville. He was preceded in death by two brothers.
Funeral services were at 11 a.m. Monday at Dickerson Funeral Home, Veedersburg, with the Rev. Sam Nichols officiating. Burial was in Kingman fraternal Cemetery. – thanks to s
