Veedersburg – Henry Martin, 78, died at his home here at 3 o’clock Friday afternoon. He had been ill for several months with a heart ailment. For 20 years, Mr. Martin was employed as a bridge carpenter on the Big Four Railroad and since his retirement had been a farmer. The survivors include one daughter, Helen. Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon.
