MARTIN, Harold S. - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Harold S. Martin of Attica, age 63, died Friday night, October 30, in Colonial Crest Convalescent Center at Indianapolis. He was born in Warren County, June 12, 1918, the son of Aaron and Sylvia Mahaffey Martin. May 29, 1943, he married Betty VanDame, who survives. Martin was a member of Hickman Heights Christian Church and was employed as a mechanic at Courtesy Chevrolet-Oldsmobile and other garages in Attica for more than 30 years.

  Also surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Tina Zackery of Sheridan; three sisters, Mrs. Jane Ruppert and Mrs. Betty Gerlock, both of Lafayette, and Mrs. Dorothy Swanson of Hammond; and three grandchildren.

 Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at Maus Chapel in Attica with Rev. James Boudouris officiating. Burial was in Riverside Cemetery at Attica. – s -
