Frank Martin, 81, lifetime farmer of this vicinity, died at 6:30 a.m. Saturday at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Avis Sheridan, Newtown. He had been bedfast since May. Mr. Martin was born Sept 18, 1864, son of Amos and Hannah Palin Martin. He was married Oct 13, 1887 to Carrie Florey, who preceded him in death June 15, 1941. He was a member of the former Greenbay United Brethren Church. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Sheridan and Mrs. Ruby Hickman near Newtown; a son, Amos near Lafayette; sister, Mrs. Pearl Marlatt near Newtown; four grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Funeral services were held at 4 p.m. Monday at the Sheridan residence. The DeSutter Funeral Home, Attica was in charge of interment in Greenbay Cemetery ---- kbz
