DANVILLE, ILL.--Funeral services for Earl G. Martin, age 64, of Marshall Rt. 3, a former Danville, Bismarck and Catlin resident, father of Mrs. Dorothy Rennacker of Covington, were held at 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 15, at the Edgewood Baptist Church. The Rev. Garth Sibert officiated. Burial was in the Gundy Cemetery near Bismarck with the Edmund & Dickson Funeral Home of Danville in charge. Mr. Martin died at 4:20 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 12, in Lakeview Memorial Hospital where he had been a patient since Oct. 28. Born March 27, 1899, at Bismarck, he was a son of James and Dora Martin. His schooling was at Bismarck and he then resided at Catlin. He moved to Danville in 1922 and was employed as an electrician by the C&EI Railroad until he retired in April of 1963 because of a disability. He also farmed east of Danville and near Marshall. Mr. Martin was married May 12, 1951 to Betty Humble, who preceded him in death Nov. 26, 1962. Surviving are two sons, Lloyd V. and Donald E. both of Danville; two daughters, Mrs. Dorothy Rennacker of Covington, and Mrs. Ruth Eickhoff of Danville; three brothers, Owen and Russell of Central Park, and Arthur of Chicago; four sisters, Mrs. Bess Hughes of Alvin and Mrs. Pearl Green, Mrs. Effie Pickett and Mrs. Myrtle Hess, all of Danville; 17 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.  --typed by Walt W
