MARTIN, Dorothy Bilsland - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Mrs. Dorothy “Dot” Martin of Fairhope, Alabama, age 94, died Thursday, November 26, in Fairhope Nursing Home. She was born in 1887 in Covington, the daughter of Lindsey H. and Ada Frances Youngblood Bilsland. A graduate of Covington High School in 1906, she had later lived in Frankfort and Bloomington, Illinois. She was the widow of John W. Martin.

  Survivors include two sons, Wayne of Fairhope and Loren of El Paso, Texas; and two grandchildren.

  Graveside services and burial were in Mount Hope Cemetery at Covington, Monday. Rev. Gregg Curtis officiated and Bodine and Shelby Funeral Home was in charge of local arrangements. – thanks to S
