GEORGETOWN (CNS) – Clinton W. Martin, 57, of Georgetown Route l, died at 4 a.m. today (Feb. 26, 1970) at his home. Born July 6, 1912, at Eugene, Ind., he was the son of William and Mary Pogue Martin. He was employed by General Motors for 19 years. Mr. Martin was a member of Bethel Baptist Church in Georgetown. He married Mildred Davis May 9, 1932, in Bowling Green, Ohio. Survivors include his widow; three son, Ward C. of Georgetown, William L. of Vandalia, La., and James of Veedersburg, Ind.; a daughter, Mrs. Gloria Dill of Kingman, Ind.; three sisters, Mrs. Roy Thompson of Danville, Mrs. Barbara, Calif., and Mrs. Ralph Nixon of Danville; and seven grandchildren. Preceding him in death were two brothers and one sister. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Barrick and Son Funeral Home with the Rev. Ray Silver of the Bethel Baptist Church officiating. Burial will be in Springhill Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral Vernan Mottweiler of Santa home for 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday. – jlr
