Attica — Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon, July 20, at the DeSutter Funeral Home for Amos Martin, age 70, of Lafayette Rt. 7, who died Wednesday afternoon, July 17, at St. Elizabeth Hospital, Lafayette. He had been a patient 10 days. He was born Sept. 28, 1892 near Attica in Logan Township, the son of Frank and Carrie Florey Martin. He was married in Newtown on Feb. 8, 1917 to Bertha Cunningham. The wife survives along with three sons; Carroll, Lowell and Kenneth, all of Lafayette; two sisters, Mrs. Ruby Hickman and Mrs. Avis Sheridan, both of Attica Rt. l; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Mrs. Sheridan is Mr. Martin's twin-sister. Burial was in Green Bay Cemetery near Newtown. --typed by Walt W
