MARSHALL, Grace Busard - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

VEEDERSBURG - Mrs. Grace Marshall, age 61, of Veedersburg Rt. 1, died at 7:30 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 9, at her home. She had been ill eight months. Mrs. Marshall was born Oct. 9, 1905, the daughter of Jacob W. and Jane Gauld Busard. She was married Feb. 6, 1926, to Nicholas Marshall, who survives. She had resided in Veedersburg for the past 26 years and was a former resident of Indianapolis. She was associated with her husband in operating Marshall Studios, Inc., where she was vice-president and secretary. She was a member of the First Christian Church where she had served as organist for several years. Surviving, in addition to the husband, are: one daughter, Mrs. Jane Martz of Veedersburg; one son, John of Veedersburg, one brother, Broward Busard, also of Veedersburg; one sister, Mrs. Dale Turlee of Indianapolis; and six grandchildren. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Friday at the First Christian Church. The Rev. James Dyson officiated and burial was in Rockfield Cemetery, southeast of Veedersburg. The Parham Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. - jlr
