Mrs. Eleanor Edna Marshall, 93 died at 11 p.m. Saturday at the home of a sister, Mrs. Leota Clark of Veedersburg. Mrs. Marshall had been in failing health 2 years, her condition becoming serious last Tedersburg Oct 28, 1867 she was a daughter of Marshall and Nancy Elizabeth Wilson Furr. She married Elmer Marshall Nov 22, 1885 and he preceded her in death Nov 2 1946. Surviving are 5 children, a son George S. Marshall of Chesterton and four daughters, Mrs. Ava Pearl Philpott of Hillsboro; Mrs Vera Gale Roison of Lafayette; Mrs. Elizabeth Hesler of Bradenton Fla and Mrs. Leota Clark of this community. Also surviving are a sister, Mrs. Eva Laird of Covington, Luke Furr of Newtown and 2 grandchildren, 53 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren. There are 87 living descendants. Mrs. Marhsall was a member of the Centennial EUB church where funeral services were conducted at 2 p.m. Tues with the Rev. Bennet Fulp of Crawfordsville officiating. Burial in Centennennial Cemetery with Fishero Funeral home in charge.

Mrs. Eleanor Etta Marshall, 93, a life resident of Fountain County, died at 10:45 p.m. Saturday (May 13, 1961) at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Leota Clark, of Veedersburg, where she had been making her home for the past year. She had been in ill health two years and seriously ill three days.
Born near Veedersburg Oct. 26, 1867, she was the daughter of Marshall and Nancy Wilson Furr. She was married Nov. 22, 1885, to Elmer Marshall, who preceded her in death Nov. 23, 1946. She also was preceded in death by three children.
Mrs. Marshall had resided most of her life on a farm south of Veedersburg. She was a member of the Centennial EUB Church.
Survivors include a son, George S. of Chesterton; four daughters, Mrs. Ava Philpott of Hillsboro, Mrs. Vera Robson of Lafayette, Mrs. Elizabeth Hesler of Bradenton, Fla., and Mrs. Leota Clark of Veedersburg; a sister, Mrs. Eva Laird of Covington; a brother, Luke of Newtown; 23 grandchildren; 53 great-grandchildren, and 6 great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Centennial EUB Church. The Rev. Bennett Fulp of Crawfordsville officiated with burial in the church cemetery. Fishero Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. - jz
