MARSHALL, Carl

Cates – Carl E. Marshall, an employee of Olin Co, died at 6:50 p.m. Monday in St. Elizabeth Hospital, Danville, Ill. According to a family member, Mr. Marshall was coon hunting and fell out of a tree. Born in Warren County, he was a 1955 graduate of Covington HS. He had resided at Cates since 1973.  He was a member of Galloway Chapel Church, State Line Masonic Lodge 274, Scottish Rite, Valley of Terre Haute and Fountain-Warren County Scottish Rite Club. He was an avid fisherman and hunter. Surviving are four sisters, Mrs. Violet Musson of Astoria, ill; Mrs. Vivian Murer of West Lafayette; Mrs. Linda Jane Hubbard of West Lebanon and Mrs. Diana Turner of Cates; a half sister, Mrs. Martha Blake of Fountain Blue, Calif; three brothers, Thomas and Aaron Marshall, both of rural Williamsport and Francis Merle Marshall of Lafayette; and a half brother, David Earl Fleming of Stanton, Calif.
