VEEDERSBURG, Ind. — Services for Tom Marsh, 85, of Tampa, Fla., a former Veedersburg resident, who died at Lowe's Nursing Home Friday (Dec. 11, 1970), were Monday at the Du Val Funeral Home in Tampa. Burial was at Hillsborough Memorial Gardens near Tampa. He had been in failing health for some time. Mr. Marsh started a business as a photographer in Veedersburg at an early age. He and his wife, Nell, owned and operated a barber and beauty shop in Veedersburg for many years, prior to retiring and moving to Florida. Survivors include a niece, Mabel Allen and a nephew, Ramon Marsh both of Veedersburg Route 1; and cousins of Danville, Ill. He was preceded in death by his wife, Nell, in 1967, two brothers and two sisters.
VEEDERSBURG —Relatives here have been notified of the death of Tom Marsh, 85, of Tampa, Fla., formerly of Veedersburg. He died Friday in Lowe's Nursing Home. He had been in failing health for some time. Mr. Marsh and his wife, Nell, owned and operated a beauty and barber shop at Veedersburg for many years prior to retiring and moving to Florida. He started in business as a photographer. Survivors include a niece, Mabel Allen, and a nephew, Ramon Marsh, both of Rt. 1, Veedersburg, and cousins living at Danville, Ill. He was preceded in death by his wife, who died in 1967; two sisters, Lilly and Daisy, and two brothers, Elmer and Otis. Services were conducted Monday in DuVal Funeral Home at Tampa. Burial was in Hillsborough Memorial Gardens near Tampa.
