ATTICA, Ind. (CNS) --- Miss Mildred H. Marr, 65, of the Elmdale community on Attica Route 2, died at 6:35 a.m. today (Jan. 4, 1974) at the Woodland Manor Nursing Home. Death was unexpected, however, she had been ill since 1968. Born Sept. 13, 1908, near Rob Roy in Fountain County, she was the daughter of Thomas and Ethel Wantland Marr. A resident of Attica most of her life, she had attended Attica schools and was a graduate of the school of nursing at Granite City, Ill. She was a registered nurse and had worked at the former Maris Hospital in Williamsport. She had been employed in first aid at Harrison Steel Casting Co. for 20 years. Survivors include two brothers, Jesse Marr and Thomas Marr, both of Attica. She was preceded in death by a sister, Mrs. Ruth Askew. Services will be at 2 p.m. EST Sunday at the Dale Maus Funeral Home, with the Rev. Don Green officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery. Friends will be received from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. The family has requested any memorials be in the form of contributions to the Fountain County Heart Fund. --typed by Walt W
